The Puppies are HERE!!

Well I'm back from camping and.......Well Orea finally had the puppies!
On Sunday, July 30, 2006, Orea & Ty welcomed their 3 new children! The first 2 puppies out were a girl and a boy, the girl had trouble breathing at first. So Virginia (Orea's Owner) had to tip the puppy upside down and give it human mouth-to-mouth. With her many years of experience breading Shelties we knew that the puppies were in good hands. So she got her to start breathing, then came another lil girl. All puppies are healthy and I can't wait to see them. I'll post some pics once I go and visit the new lil bundles of joy.

Side note: Camping was awesome, lots of smores, and fun times as a family. Dad had a great race, he did another 1/2 ironman duathalon on Sunday and got 1st in his age/category. As well he got 2nd overall in the bike portion out of all the 1/2 ironman duathaletes. He was very excited!! WAY TO GO DADDY!

The Puppies are Almost Here!

Well my lil Ty (our family spoiled dog) is going to be a father again. Him and his wife (we married them before they had the puppies that first time), are about to have their 2 second set of puppies any day now! Last time they had 4 puppies and this time we are thinking she will have the same amount. Which should be any day know as the mommy has been nesting, we hope within the next couple of days.

This is Oreo, the mommy. She is a Shipoo (Shitzu, Poodle). Oreo is a my moms friends family dog. They specifically picked a girl dog so that we could bread our dog with theirs. She looks a little tired, but who wouldn't after the fourth and last puppy had just come out and was drinking some milk. She did a great job last time. My mom, and two sisters were able to get to their house in time just to see the last two puppies coming out. It was amazing.

This is the proud papa to be. This is my family dog Ty, or Tyler. We named him after Ty Pennington from the old Trading Spaces, now he is on Extreme Home Makeover. Ty is a Shitzu-Maltese. He is mostly Matlese with the soft and curly hair. He loves his wife, however he can't see her right now or even for a bit after the puppies are born. Whenever Oreos mom comes over Ty will cry as he wants to go with her because he knows that she is going back to where Oreo is . As well whenever you say "Ty, where's Oreo?"...he goes up onto the couch and looks out the window to see where she is. Its too cute.

These are two of the four puppies from last time. They are so cuddly and have the fur of their daddy. The one of the left was a girl and the one on the right was a boy, Dash. Dash we still keep in contact with as my moms friend from work owns him. We just had him over last week for a few days, so Dad (Ty)and Son (Dash) had some reunion time. They call my mom Grandma to Dash. Its all too cute.

Well I'm let you know when the new puppies come and I'll post some pics. For know I'm off to bed, as I work in the morning at 9am which means I'm up at 7am (way too early) and leaving the house by 8am. Then I'm off camping for the weekend as my dad has another 1/2 Ironman Race this coming Sunday. So its family weekend and we are all going camping in the trailer. Y'all have a great weekend!

A Purse with a String

So I need a purse with a string attached to me just like mittens are attached to your coat in the winter time. You may ask yourself why?!....because I lost my purse.

It is know the second Saturday that a bunch of young adults in the community some friends and ppl that we work with get together and play volleyball. Then we go for ice cream after our nice workout. LOL...There is usually about 7 people each week that show up. This week there were a few different people from last week. Its lots of fun and we arn't counting points or anything, just strickly some fun and laughing the whole time. Once we have gone running after the ball way too much down the hill towards the lake we call it quits and go for ice cream. The ice cream place is awesome. You get soo much ice cream for just under $3. After we get the ice cream we go outside and sit at the picnice tables and talk. Tonight we talked about boys, and how much most of the girls there are having a hard time with some guy friends. We had 6 girls and 1 guy that went for ice cream. We tryed to get the guys opinion of everything from his point of view. I wonder if he'll come out again next week or did we scare him??

So sitting down at the picnic table is where I lost my purse. I put it down beside me on the ground. Then when we got up to leave I totally forgot it and just went right to my car. So then I drive home it takes about 15 minutes, I then get home reach into my backseat where I normally keep my purse while driving, and its not there. So I run upstairs to my sisters room and get her to go onto canada411 to see if she can try and get the ice cream places #. We finally find it in the yellow pages, and I call them. So there my purse was outside still sitting on the ground. They close in 15 minutes and it takes 15 minutes to get there, so I tell them I'll try and drive fast. I take my lil bro with me for the ride, as I'm going to be gone for 1/2 an hour or 15 minutes there and back if I speed..LOL..So I get my purse, while feeling like an idiot going into the store and picking up my purse. But I have it and everything is great!!!

Well off I'm, tomorrow is my first of six days in a row. But it will be worth it hopefully, as we are going camping on Saturday and Sunday.

Happy Birthday Lil Sis!

I know the day is almost over, (actually by the time I post the day is over), but it has been a very busy day! Shopping, playing volleyball, eating ice cream, walking by the lake, going for a drive, then back home to unpack all my shopping bags.

My youngest sister Mon turned 17 today (july 15)!! I still think of her as a little baby that I would carry around and scare my mom when I took her our of her crib. Although know she is stronger than me (thanks to her horseback riding muscles), and when I do pick her up its giving her a piggy back around the house or upstairs if she is tired.

This is a picture of us three girls, it starts with Mon by the window, then Me, then Mel. We were on a plane coming back from Dominican last year.

Sisters are so special in a girls life. I know that we may have our differences and we may fight the odd time but in the end we are still sisters who love each other deep down inside. May mom always tells us girls (since there are 3 sisters in my family), that we will once all be best friends. LOL....Right now we are laughing however I can already start to see us being closer. I love having a sister to talk to and ask their opinion on clothes while shopping, or have someone to share a secret that mom or dad can't know for a bit. Sisters were made for freindships that last forever. Mon has been a sister who is the peace keeper between my other sister and I. She's energetic, happy, and a socalite at school, work, and at the barn.

Mon you are a joy to have in this family! I hope that you have a great 17th Birthday.

I love ya to bits!

Welcome to Canada!

Wow, a weekend can go pretty fast when you are busy. You host a young adults party, go out with friends, go swimming, pick up a student from Japan who will be staying at the house for 3 weeks, pack to go camping, watch a race, pack up the camp site, drive home, unpack the trailer, go to bed. That was my weekend and I enjoyed every little bit of it.

Our Japanese student arrived on Saturday for 3 weeks. She is very quiet but we are starting to see her come out of her schell more, and it has only been a few days. Every year for the past 6 years we have been hosting the summer students that come to beautiful Muskoka. We have had students in all including 1 student for a whole year, 5 girls, and 1 boy in total. I think of it as learning experience for both families as we learn about their culture and they learn about our culture. Each year we learn something new, and every year I look forward to a new student. Below is a picture of our student and I when we were camping this past weekend. I think it was a bit of a shock was the student though going right to camping. At least we wern't in a tent we had a trailer with beds, a table, a kitchen, and a bathroom (although we didn't hook anything up).

Welcome to Canada YK (nickname)!!..We hope you enjoy your stay in Canada!

Please ignore the date in the corner, it was using my brothers camera, and didn't notice the wrong date that was being put on the photos.

Sunday was a busy day again for the athletes in the family. Dad was running in his first 1/2 ironman duathalon in Peterbourgh (usually he does duathalons) and Mon was performing in her horse competitions down south. The 1/2 ironman was a 2km run (approx 10 min), 90km bike (approx 3hrs), 20 km run. Way to go DAD, you finished the race and even got 1st in your age/group category!!! Mon got reserve champion in her jumping!! Congrats to you both!!!

I was spammed so I'm republishing this post, as well as I changed my secuirty settings!..Stupid spam!

Boating

Living in beautiful Muskoka you always enjoy the time that you get to spend by the water, especially boating on the lakes! I love going boating and so when I asked my parents if we could all go one day and we'd pack a picnic for dinner mom said call dad. So I called dad and he said sure. So off we went, Mom, Dad, Mel, Josh, and Pat (josh's friend). Josh and Pat went tubing behind the boat (soo funny to watch them flip over the waves). We then ending up picking Mon after she had gone riding (her horse Flicka) by a nearby dock.

I'm in the turquoise (sp?), and Mon is covered up by my blanket. It doesn't look like I was falling but we were both cuddling onto the one bench chair to share the blanket.

The sunset is beautiful and this picture makes me want to never leave Muskoka.

Well I'm off to go camping in our new to us trailer down in Peterbourgh with the family (except those who are workin (mel), or have a horse show (mon), as well as our Japenese student that just arrived today. My dad is doing his first half-iron man duathalon tomorrow and I can't wait to be his cheerleader!

A Weekend of Fun!

This past weekend was a blast! There was so much going on and lots of fun happened. So Friday night I went to a graduation for some friends that I have known for a few years now. They are my sisters friends but since we are all so close in age and they are also some of my friends siblings Mel and I went to their grad. I then had a movie night with my other sis Mon. We watched 'Dreamer', what a good movie. Mon likes horses and I'm just sapping something so it was a good movie. Dakota Fanning is a great actress and so cute also!

Saturday since it was Canada Day and all the malls were closed on my day off , except for the Orillia mall (thank goodness), my mom and I went shopping there in the afternoon. Later on that night I went to a barbeque with my Louisianna and then a group of us went to the fireworks...well the fireworks didn't last long, actually didn't start at all and we even didn't get to sit down, cuz as soon as we al got there it started to rain, and not just spitting like a HUGE downpour. Needless to say we walked back to the house we were at and then Louisianna and I left to go back to my house, after a lil stop at Tim Hortons. We then watched 'Failure to Launch', another good movie. I had seen it in theatre with my aunty Shash and friend Nickers. It is still a good movie the second time!

Sunday 10 of us went to Wonderland, what a great time!! There was my mom and dad, Mon and her friend Kristina, Josh and his friend Patrick, Melissa and her friend Tristan, me and my friend Jordan (who is also Tristans brother). We took two cars, my parents SUV, and my lil Sunfire. We got back to our town just in time to see the firworks, which were amazing this year!!! Everytime we thought they were over, they started again, they haven't been this good for a long time.

Well that was a busy and amazing weekend. How was everyone elses??
